      Kenny Gill Guillot
(January 7, 1936 - February 28, 2010)

Mr. Guillot, age 74 of Nashville, Tennessee, formerly of Bunkie, passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2010 in Ascension Oaks. He was a member of the Louisiana Musicians Hall of Fame. He was a professional and well-known guitar player who loved his music and family dearly.

Kenny Gill was truly a world class guitarist. Having performed and recorded with some of the biggest names in the entertainment field, Kenny was capable of performing any and all types of music from classical, jazz, finger style, gospel, blues or hard driving country.
Born and reared in a small south Louisiana town called Bunkie, Kenny’s love for the guitar came early on. Getting his first guitar at the age of 7, Kenny quickly began a lifelong ambition to master the instrument, which he certainly has.
A very personable person, he enjoys meeting people and sharing his many stories of performing throughout his life. Also being trilingual, Kenny enjoys finding someone who can converse with him in other languages.
Among his many attributes, Kenny has been inducted into “The Louisiana Music Hall of Fame”, ”The Rockabilly Hall of Fame”, “The North American Country Music Hall of Fame”, and “The Order of Living Legends”.

Should you have had an opportunity to experience one of Kenny’s concerts, you know what an enjoyable experience it was and agree that Kenny Gill was truly a “World Class Guitarist”.
