 Jazz, Country, Blues, and Traditional music styles taught.  Lessons for songwriters.  Lessons on how to perform in front of an audience.  Proficient in ProTools recording software.  Also I can teach you how to make your own chord charts and transcriptions

Experience

I have a Bachelor of Music degree from Belmont University. 
I have played in bands with Kenny Chesney, Blake Shelton, Jo Dee Messina and more and so I have practical experience to draw on when teaching piano. 
All ages are welcome from beginners to more advanced students.

I have a cut with Blake Shelton called "Love gets in the way" on the "Barn and grill" record that we wrote together.  I also played on it.

Band leader, piano player and background vocalist, Blake Shelton, Nashville TN — 2001-2006
Responsible for rehearsing the band, playing piano and organ parts and singing background parts.

Band leader, piano player, tracks operator, Conway Twitty Musical, Nashville TN — 2008
Ran tracks from a laptop and played piano for a play that featured a Conway Twitty sound-alike.  Rehearsed the band.

Piano player, Steve Holy, Nashville TN — 2009-present
Touring North America and Canada with national recording artist.  Recreated the recordings for live performance on piano and organ.
